babywearing for over 20 years. My childhood travels in South America brought back this inner certainty that a baby had to be carried, the day I became a mother.<\/p>\n<p>People would stop me on the bus and on the street to ask me to share the know-how I&#8217;d reappropriated as best I could. A real passion grew out of the need to know what I was teaching inside out, and to have serious sources and references to back it up. I&#8217;m continuing to develop this training for groups who ask me for it, based on their feedback.  <\/p>\n<p>2016, I attended the Canadian Babywearing School, became a member of the Baby Carrier Industry Alliance and attended the international babywearing conference in New York called: <u>Bond<\/u>.<\/p>\n<p>In 2017, I traveled around France to visit three babywearing schools, where I took two other instructor training courses, with the Association fran\u00e7aise pour le portage des b\u00e9b\u00e9s and the Porter en toute simplicit\u00e9 school.<\/p>\n<p>2018, I&#8217;m invited as a guest speaker in Italy at the <u>Primo Convegno italiano sul babywearing <\/u>, where I enrich my approach with several French, Belgian, German and Italian babywearing schools. Become a skin-to-skin consultant<em> <\/em>following the <em>Kangaroo Care Certification Course<\/em> with the United States Institute for Kangaroo Care.<\/p>\n<p>That same year, with a group of instructors, I set up the Institut national du portage des enfants (INPE), which I chaired for two years before taking over as CEO until 2022. The latter is based as much on existing <strong>scientific studies<\/strong> as on <strong>the in-depth experience of people who have always practiced babywearing<\/strong> and skin-to-skin contact <strong>all around the world.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been able to<strong> apply the tools<\/strong> I&#8217;ve developed with my daughter since she was 6 months old (she&#8217;s 18 months now) and I believe it has helped me build an even stronger and more trusting attachment relationship with her. What&#8217;s more, it&#8217;s given me greater autonomy and freedom to get around and do household chores!<\/p>\n<p>Honestly, <strong>I was blown away by the knowledge<\/strong> I gained from this training program. <strong>I would recommend<\/strong> the Porter la Vie training courses to anyone.
