Handling and Care Instructions

PROPER HANDLING – ESSENTIAL FOR DURABILITY

To preserve the integrity of your doll and prevent premature breakage:

✓ DO:

  • Always lift and handle the doll by the torso, ideally supporting its pelvis and neck: this is the physiological way to lift a real baby.
  • Adequately support the body weight during movements
  • Handle with care during demonstrations
  • Store in an appropriate place between uses

✗ DO NOT:

  • NEVER lift the doll by the head, arms, or legs.
  • Do not pull on the limbs.
  • Do not drop or throw the doll.
  • Never immerse in water or pour liquid on the doll.
  • Do not expose to extreme temperatures or prolonged humidity.

⚠ CRITICAL WARNING: Due to the substantial weight of our dolls, lifting them by their limbs or head will quickly cause premature wear or breakage at the joints. This type of damage is not covered by the warranty.

General Care:

  • Follow the care instructions provided with your doll
  • Clean according to the manufacturer’s recommendations
  • Regularly inspect joints and connection points
  • Store away from direct sunlight and humidity

Legal Warranty

In accordance with the Quebec Consumer Protection Act, our dolls are covered by a legal warranty against hidden defects and manufacturing defects that make them unfit for their intended use.

Expected Lifespan: With appropriate professional use and regular maintenance according to our instructions, our demonstration dolls are designed to last several years. As an indication, under normal professional use conditions (2-4 demonstrations per week) and with proper handling, you can expect a minimum lifespan of 5 years. Your doll should still be usable beyond this period, but it may require re-weighting. The actual lifespan will vary depending on the intensity of use, storage conditions, and the care given to the product.

Returns and Refunds

For distance purchases (online, by phone):

In accordance with the Quebec Consumer Protection Act, you have a period of 10 days following receipt to cancel your purchase, for any reason.

Return Conditions:

  • The doll must be returned in its original condition, unused and in its original packaging
