Heavy, weighted doll to encourage realistic gestures during a demonstration. Its proportions and articulated limbs are designed to precisely mimic the anatomy of a newborn baby. We use it to demonstrate what to do with babies aged 0 to 6 months. It is carefully padded and weighted with sand and synthetic stuffing*.

*Possibility of adding extra weight to the head for gestures that require the head to feel heavy in a newborn with low neck tone. This option is sometimes useful for capacity assessments in occupational therapy. The head, which normally weighs 300 g, can be weighed up to 800 g. The doll’s total weight is 3.7kg. When this option is chosen, it becomes essential to handle the doll by supporting its head at all times, as you would with a newborn baby. This option is available by special order only.
